„Village très pittoresque et dépaysant. A ne recommander qu'à ceux qui aiment le calme et la tranquillité. Possibilité de se promener sur les hauteurs de Brusje pour découvrir des paysages splendides et pour cueillir toutes sortes de plantes arromatiques. Attention, il n'y a pas de restaurant et pas de magasin d'alimentation à Brusje. Le village semblerait même abandonné mais ce n'est qu'une impression ! Mais on trouve tout ce que l'on cherche à Hvar à 10 minutes en voiture.“

„En août, lorsque vous quittez la ville d'Hvar, vous retrouvez un havre de paix dans le petit village de Brusje, même si le village semble un peu abandonné. En plus, durant l'été, les températures sont plus supportables (pas besoin de mettre la climatisation). La route qui monte à Brusje offre des panoramas magnifiques et sur les hauteurs du village, vous pouvez même cueillir du romarin, de l'origan, de la sauge. Le seul bémol, c'est qu'il n'y a aucun magasin dans le village, mais on trouve de tout à Hvar, à 10 minutes en voiture.“

„Das Dorf, in dem die Wohnung liegt, ist sehr klein, aber auch sehr ansprechend. Mit dem Auto können mehrere empfehlenswerte Buchten in der Nähe erreicht werden. Ansonsten ist das Städtchen Hvar mit ca. 15 Minuten Fahrzeit die nahegelegendste Möglichkeit, beispielsweise Einkäufe zu tätigen oder auszugehen.“

„Most of the towns are really nice situated, offer plenty of shops, boutiques, and good food. In the main town Hvar and Stari Grad are super markets, DM etc. Should visit the market place in Hvar for fresh fruit, and shark is really lovely to eat. It is a very tourist type of island but not a lot of attractions, mainly the beaches are nice, and good resturants. And living there is not expensive for eating out and cigarettes or petrol, and drinks. And it is very warm, it only rained there once on the first night. It is also very much an island for sailing boats which is really the main attraction. But also very quite there and restful. Not many flowers on the island, mainly bushes and olive trees, but it is like it is, the island has its own feeling and beauty in itsself one either likes it or does not, we liked the island, nice for a holiday but wouldn´t want to live there.“
