Holiday apartment in an idyllic location by the Westerwald

This cosy holiday apartment is on the first floor of a two-storey, detached single-family house in Ölsen, in the Rheinland-Pfalz, near the Westerwald.

The apartment of around 100m² has a large living and dining room with a sofa (bed) for two people (140 x 200cm), a dining table with chairs and a fireplace, which can be used for cosy evenings. The owner provides firewood free of charge. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180cm wide), a sofa bed for two people (150 x 200cm) and a child’s bed/cot. The second bedroom has a French bed (140cm wide). The apartment has a fully-equipped built-in kitchen with an oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, toaster and kettle, as well as a storage room. The owner can provide a highchair free of charge. There is a bathroom with a shower, bath, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. A washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner and iron can be used free of charge. The washing machine and dryer are in the laundry room in the cellar of the building. The apartment has free wireless Internet access throughout, as well as heating in all rooms. Hand and bath towels can be ordered for a fee of €5, one hand towel and bath towel per person. A change is possible on request. A portable fan is available for use on hot days.

You can relax on the large terrace shared with the owners, where you can end the evening with a cosy barbecue. An electric grill is available, as well as sun loungers and seating. A free paddling pool can be set up for children, for shared use. There is a car parking space right near the entrance, for use free of charge. Pets are allowed on request.

Energy costs and water are metered and charged according to use. The apartment is suitable for guests who enjoy rural surroundings, nature and animals, whilst still enjoying a certain standard of aesthetics.

The nearest grocery shop is 6km away. Restaurants, market centres, pharmacies, doctors and a Kulturhaus with various events are in Altenkirchen 6km away. Within 6-15km other cultural amenities await you (Kulturwerk Wissen and Haus Felsenkeller Altenkirchen), as well as restaurants with international cuisine and cafes. For nightlife, you can can enjoy dancing in Uckerath 20km away. The Schaukelkeller dance venue is a trendy address, with a bowling club.

    “Alles in allem eine sehr zu empfehlende Ferienwohnung. Positiv: Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Man hat an alles gedacht was ein Haushalt so benötigt um eine angenehme Zeit zu verbringen. Negativ: Wer Gehprobleme hat könnte die Treppe zur Wohnung Schwierigkeiten bereiten. Restaurant: Simsek, Weiherbusch - Schneller Imbiss, Döner, Schnitzel, Pommes und vieles mehr. Vor allem sehr sauber geführter Imbiss! Ausflüge: Altenkirchen - Viele Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und shoppen”

    “Het appartement is een bovenwoning welke zeer volledig is ingericht en waar het aan niets in ontbreekt. Voor mensen met een lichamelijke handicap, slecht ter been,kan het wat moeilijk zijn om boven te komen Overigens de trap is breed genoeg en de treden zijn ook gemakkelijk te belopen.

    Aan de voorzijde is een ruim balkon. Voor de deur kan worden geparkeerd. De eigenaar, welke de onder woning bewoont, is een bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzame man die altijd bereid is om alle mogelijke informatie te geven. Van geluidsoverlast is geen sprake.”
