The favorable geographic position of the Abruzzi is an excellent starting-point in order to reach comfortably a lot of localities, in search of new and various emotions: the interesting Fortress of Civitella del Tronto, a little medieval town remained unchanged during the centuries, ca.35 km far from Villa Rosa; moreover ca. 70 km. away raises the highest mountain of the Appennines in the National Park of Abruzzi, "the Gran Sasso d'Italia" or the aerospace center "Telespazio" in the Fucino-Valley.
The Abruzzi has something completely particular: its color, its folklore, its local patina that appears on every step: in its countries, in its customs, its cuisine, its handicraft, its people, in its essence of genuine and veracious region.
