This small, cosy seaside resort is considered by many, especially families, as their summer retreat. Schönhagen has a sandy beach, approximately 1000 metres long and protected by lifeguards. It seamlessly connects to the beach of Kappeln in the north and to a steep coast in the south. On the beach, directly behind the small promenade, there are 60 comfortable cottages. This house, with a sauna and a fireplace, is comfortable and cosy. In this small resort you will find good entertainment programmes throughout the year. Many events are conducted especially for families with children during the summer months.
