This vacation apartment in Valsavarenche consists of a large open-space room on the first floor with a living area with kitchenette, a sleeping area with double bed and a bathroom with shower in the basement (the bathroom has no door). Outside the house, up a staircase, is the twin bedroom. Valsavaranche is a narrow valley (24 km long) between wooded slopes dominated by the majestic natural amphitheater of Gran Paradiso. A dense network of paths, most of which were laid out by the Savoy royal family, makes for pleasant excursions. The villages of Nex and Tignet still preserve the characteristic Alpine architecture of the late Middle Ages. The ski resort of Valsavaranche is particularly suitable for beginners and families with children, the alpine ski slopes are 2 km from here, the famous ski resorts of Courmayeur are only 42 km away and La Thuille 49 km. Valle d'Aosta is a region rich in art and culture. In Aosta (30 km) there are numerous monuments dating back to Roman times. Numerous castles characterize the landscape of the Valle d'Aosta. The most important are the castles of Fenis (68 km) and Issogne (71 km) ), Verres (69 km), Sarre (26 km) and Bard (77 km). Not to forget the many gastronomic specialties such as Lardo di Arnad and Fontina cheese, ingredients widely used in regional cuisine. At 37 km is Pre Saint Didier with its famous thermal baths, at 147 km is Turin, the first capital of Italy with a wide range of monuments and museums.
