Did you always dream of staying in a historic palazzo? In a beautiful location with a private pool? This is the right place for you: on the edge of a medieval settlement, on a quiet hill between Città di Castello (20 km) and Cortona (35 km) is this very special semi-detached holiday home: stylishly restored with original antique furnishings. On the ground floor, the portal opens to the high entrance area with stairs; a bathroom, dining area and big kitchen follow. On the first floor are three bedrooms, two living rooms, a bathroom; a second bathroom is on the second floor. In front of the house you can dine under the pergola. A little below is the private pool area with deckchairs and a covered terrace, as well as a park-like garden plot with olive trees, figs, cacti, oleanders - a little paradise! In the village Lugnano there is not only fresh spring water at the village fountain but also a good ristorante (500 m), where you can taste local specialities. Pasta with truffles and porcini mushrooms, game dishes. Paths and streets for hiking or biking run along the River Tiber (8 km) and through the small side valleys. A soccer field is at 300 m; archery at 500 m. Explore the many interesting towns in the area: Città di Castello, Montone and Umbertide at 15 km, Cortona 30 km, Arezzo and Perugia 60 km. Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches is at 35 km. The nearest town with all kinds of shops is Trestina at 5 km.
