Eresfjord is idyllically situated on the shores of Lake Eikesdal in western Norway, surrounded by imposing mountains such as the 1800-metre-high Skjorta. The picturesque location offers an impressive backdrop for numerous activities. In summer, you can go hiking, climbing or mountain biking in Eresfjord. Popular hikes take you to spectacular viewpoints such as Mardalsfossen, one of the highest waterfalls in Europe. Lake Eikesdal is ideal for fishing, kayaking and swimming. There is also paragliding for adventurous visitors.

In winter, Eresfjord transforms into a tranquil winter wonderland. Ski tourers will find excellent conditions here with varied routes. Snowshoeing and ice climbing are also possible. In addition, the surrounding mountains offer impressive views of snow-covered peaks and valleys, perfect for photographers and nature lovers.
