Situated in the quiet village of Kermario, near the historic town of Hennebont, this spacious detached home with a swimming pool and tennis court is a wonderful choice for a relaxing holiday in Brittany. It is set in a quiet location, surrounded by a large garden, and enjoys a view of the nearby mdeadows and woodland. The terrace overlooks the swimming court, whilst the tennis court is situated at the end of the garden. Inside, the cosy decor ensures that the home is perfectly relaxing. The nearest sandy beach is Port Louis (13km) but you can find other numerous beaches, both quiet and lively, including Guidel beach which is one of the best surfing spots in Brittany. From the walled town of Hennebont you can go for a walk or a ride on the towpath along the Blavet, enjoy horse-riding at the local centre, visit the megaliths of Carnac or visit the lively town of Lorient from where it is possible to take the ferry to the Island of Groix.

    “Wir als Familie mit fünf Personen haben zwei sehr erholsame Wochen in Hennebont verbracht - das umgebaute und renovierte alte bretonische Bauern-Haus ist ruhig gelegen etwas ausserhalb von Hennebont direkt am Waldrand und neben einer Weide mit einem wunderschönen Garten mit hohen, alten Bäumen, Pool, Tischtennis-Platte, Schaukel, einem Sitzplatz auf der kleinen Terrasse direkt neben der Küche und einer malerischen Sitzecke für den Aperitif in der Abendsonne sowie einem Tennisplatz - ein herrliches Ambiente, bei dem man wenige Einflüsse der Natur wie die Spuren des wilden Tauben-Paares im Baum oder Pflanzen auf dem Tennisplatz gerne verschmerzt - zur Pflege des Tennisplatzes wäre jedoch besseres Gerät und ein Schlauch zur Bewässerung wünschenswert.
    Die Wohn-Küche ist ausreichend gut ausgestattet, der Wohnbereich als auch ein Billardtisch laden zum Verweilen an kälteren Abenden ein, die Beleuchtung ist jedoch tlw recht spärlich.
    Die zwei Kinder-Schlafräume und das eine Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett sind gut ausgestattet, den Raum mit Doppelbett und integriertem Bad mussten wir nicht zum Schlafen nutzen, hier erzeugt die Solartherme Geräusche, die ggf als störend empfunden werden könnten.
    Für naturverbundene Bretagne-Liebhaber mit Freude am Leben auf dem Lande, wie wir es sind, ist das Haus mehr als empfehlenswert.”
