Apartment in Piovere

The apartment is located on the western shore of Lake Garda in the Tignale municipality, 500 metres above the lake, in Piovere. This is a small tourist village that is very picturesque and quiet. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the three-storey house, has a living surface of 120 sqm and offers comfortable space for up to 6 persons.Spacious holiday apartment above Lake Garda, modern facilities, with private courtyard in natural stone and free access to a nearby public open air pool

The accommodation is freshly renovated, using materials such as marble, natural stone and wood. The walls with a light yellow color create a very cosy atmosphere, ideal for a family or a couple. Owing to its structure, the apartment stays pleasantly cool even in the hotter months of July and August. There is underfloor heating in the living and sleeping areas and radiators in the form of towel warmers are installed in the bathrooms.
The big living room affords a view of the lake and Monte Baldo and provides a sofa, sofa bed, satellite TV and a stereo system. The living room is connected to all the other rooms. A wooden table with six chairs serves as a dining space. Wooden beams on the ceiling and yellow marble floors enhance the cosy atmosphere. Underfloor heating, fly screens in the windows and loudspeakers mounted to the wall provide additional comfort.
Three steps with a wrought-iron railing lead from the living room to the very well-equipped kitchen with beige wood units, a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and crockery, glasses and cookware. Here there is also a table with four chairs. A highchair is available. The two bedrooms with double beds have a characteristic decor, with wooden beams, wooden floors, a yellow wall cupboard, a dresser, bedside tables and adjustable lamps, as well as loudspeakers on the wall, underfloor heating and fly screens. The beds measure 160 x 190 cm and 165 x 195 cm. Bed linen and a junior bed are available.
The two bathrooms have a shower, washbasin, bidet, WC, towel radiator, mirror, yellow marble floors with underfloor heating and yellow-painted walls.

The interior courtyard serves as a private outdoor area. It is encircled by natural stone typical of Lake Garda. This area is for the private use of apartment guests and is also suitable for pets. It is furnished with chairs, a table and a parasol providing shade. It is illuminated at night. Finally, there are also a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, tub and clothes horse and a storage room for baggage and shoes.

The accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users. On arrival, one can pull up in front of the apartment to unload baggage, after that the car must be parked nearby on a free, public car park about 100 metres away.

For the period of June and August all guests will enjoy free access to a public swimming pool, which is about 100 meters away. In addition, they can take advantage of the advantages of the "promotion cards" that each customer will receive free of charge. These cards give the right to various free services and discounts in the entire town of Tignale and in the territory of Lake Garda.

It is just a short walk from the house to a bar and a small supermarket. Nearby there are also a restaurant, pizzeria, swimming pool, tennis court, boccia alley and a small football ground. The optimal location allows nature lovers to go on fantastic walks or mountain bike tours. Explore the neighbouring villages with a breathtaking view of Lake Garda and the mountains. Waterfalls with natural little pools invite you to take a bath (at about 1.5 km distance from the apartment).

In Gardola, a town about 3 km away, there are a range of supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a bakery, a pharmacy, a bank and ATM, medical services and a petrol station. The tourist office can provide all information and can also book guided tours and trips. The weekly market is held here on Tuesdays. In Prabione, another local town, you can visit an adventure park, riding stables and a multimedia centre. You can also hire e-bikes. It is about 3 km from the accommodation to Tignale harbour. The private beach provides loungers, parasols and a bar. Dogs are welcome and the beach is also suitable for those who enjoy surfing and kite surfing. Golf enthusiasts are catered for in Bogliacco (about 6 km away). In Toscolano Maderno (16 km) there is a weekly market on Thursdays. There you can also find a harbour with connections by boat, hydrofoil or ferry, as well as boat hire. Other highlights are the cycle path and the Paper Museum.

    “Alles in Allem eine angenehme Whg. Sehr nette Vermieterin bzw Lorena von dem Touristikbüro im Ort. Positiv: Der kleine, eingezäunte Innenhof. Ansonsten keine Auslaufmöglichkeit für Hunde. Negativ: Keine Zufahrt ans Haus. Gepäck, Einkäufe etc. müssen getragen werden. Kleinigkeiten, wie fehlende Duschvorlagen, Polster für die Gartenmöbel, div Küchengeräte (z. B. Toaster) . Restaurant: Gibt nur ein Ristorante/Pizzeria und eine „ Bar“. - Pizza ab 18 h. Evtl Kleinigkeiten zum Essen vorher zu den Öffnungszeiten”

    “Keurig huis, vriendelijke verhuurder. Kapotte wasmachine werd in overleg met ons tijdens ons verblijf vervangen. Verhuurder was goed bereikbaar voor vragen. Slaapbank in de woonkamer prima voor 1 persoon, wij hadden gewoon extra luchtbed meegenomen. De woonkamer is groot genoeg.”

    “Die Wohnung hat 2 Schlafzimmer und ist für max. 4 Personen geeignet. Die Bäder sind schön und gut ausgestattet. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer ist nicht zum Schlafen geeignet, auch die Betten in den Schlafzimmern sind minderwertig und recht kurz. Wenn es draußen warm ist, wird es auch in der Wohnung unerträglich. Nachts wird es kaum besser, da die Steine die Hitze speichern. Die Kirchenglocken sind unfassbar laut und klingeln oft. Nichts für Langschläfer. Es ist auch sonst sehr laut, da der Hall in den Steingassen alles weit trägt. Die Parksituation ist bescheiden und hat uns gestört. Das ist mit kleinen Kindern eine Tortur.
    Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist die Wohnung nicht geeignet.
