    “De woning is zeer centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes in het Matterdal, Saasdal en Rhônedal. De omgeving is geweldig mooi. Je kunt er heerlijke dagtochten in de bergen maken. De kabelbanen zijn tamelijk duur, maar door junior kaarten (6-16 j. bijna alle banen gratis) aan te schaffen, valt het mee. Ook zijn veel gebieden zonder kabelbaan toegankelijk of kun je goed omhoog klimmen.
    Stalden is een leuk, rustig dorpje waar vandaan je zowel korte, als lange wandelingen kunt maken.Er is een goede supermarkt (Migros), waar je de meeste producten wel kunt krijgen. Ook verkoopt de bakker er heerlijk brood en broodjes.”

    “De enige winkel in de buurt was klein van assortiment en erg duur. We waren op de fiets en hadden daardoor weinig alternatief. In mei zijn de meeste restaurants nog gesloten, helaas. Prachtige omgeving om te wandelen. Heel veel bijzondere planten gezien en fantastische bloemenweides. Fietsen is hier wel een beetje te zwaar voor de gemiddelde vakantiefietser!”
